Virtual Orienteering

This summer we have worked with Active Youth Outreach Services (AYOS) to produce virtual orienteering sessions for our families! You can find out more about this free exciting activity here.

Geocaching

Geocaching is an exciting outdoor adventure for the whole family. It’s a treasure hunt game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

Often you will find an array of trinkets inside the geocache that people have left to swap. If you take a treasure out of the box, you should leave another trinket in its place, so come prepared.

You can download these coordinates from the geocaching.com website or you can download a free geocaching app for Android or iPhone.
