How can I help?

Stay in touch with people over the phone, by post, online
Ask your relatives and neighbours if they need any help with shopping for essentials or offer to help by running some errands. It could be that someone needs a prescription collecting from the pharmacy, for example.

Coronavirus Community Support – Kidderminster & Surrounding Areas offer support for people who are self-isolating or affected by the COVID-19 pandemic by collecting urgent supplies such as food or prescriptions. Click here to access their page if you would like to volunteer in your area.

Join the NHS Volunteer Responders

You can sign up to NHS Volunteer Responders who are supporting the NHS during the covid-19 outbreak. This is to support the 1.5m people in England at most risk from the virus to stay well. Once you’ve registered and checks are complete – you’ll be provided a log-in to the GoodSAM Responder app. Switch the app to ‘on duty’ and you’ll see live and local volunteer tasks to pick from near you

Donate

If you are able to, consider donating items to local food banks who are in short supply of goods for those in crisis.
